    Entry Requirements:           

    Applicants should be in senior management positions or anticipate being in this job role.  General entry requirements for undergraduate courses shall apply, and there are no exemptions in this programme.  Applicants need to be approved by their employers.

    Duration:

    The normal duration of the programme shall be one academic year full time covering nine courses and a research project.

    Assessment:  

    For each module there are three assignments and at the end of the semester students shall write a three-hour examination.

    Coursework shall constitute 30% while examinations shall constitute the other 70% of the student’s overall grade.

    A student should pass both coursework and final examination.

    Learning MethodologyLectures constitute the bulk of the teaching and learning components of each course. Students are therefore advised to attend all lectures.  Students are expected to prepare for classes and presentations.

    Lecture notes are not the sole source of knowledge.  At this level, students are required to demonstrate academic rigour through research and consulting various sources to include textbooks, journals and the Internet.

    Assignments and Tests

    Students shall be subjected to continuous assessment assignments and in-class tests as deemed necessary by course facilitators.  Course work contributes 50% towards the student’s final mark for a course.  Students are advised to submit their assignments on due dates.  Communication with respective lecturers is very important if a student has problems in meeting deadlines.  Students found guilty of plagiarism and other forms of academic dishonesty are penalized.  All work submitted should be of acceptable academic standard.  Long essay assignments should be referenced.
